NOW Hiring Lifeguards for the 2017 season!!!
The Ashtabula Township Park Commission accepts applications for Employment all year long.
Types of Employment:
Applications are only retained for employment consideration for a time period of 1 year from the date application is received. It is also suggested that a resume be completed and attached.
All Applicants (at a minimum) must be able to meet the following certain requirements:
Must Pocess a Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record (copy of Valid Drivers License required)
Must Be at least 18 years of age at the time of hiring (Exception: Lifeguards 17 years of age)
Must Be in Good Health
Must be Available and/or work any required hours between 7am - 11pm 7 days a week including holidays
Must be willing to submit to Alcohol and/or Drug Testing as requested or required
Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as requested or required
Must be willing to submit to Pre-Employment and/or yearly Health Physical as requested or required
Must live or upon request be willing to relocate residence to within a 25 mile distance of Lake Shore Park Ashtabula
(Part-Time, Temporary, Seasonal Employees, and Lifeguards Excluded)
Must be available for work between the dates of April 1st - October 31st
Must comply with all required rules of Employment as outlined in the Ashtabula Township Park Commission Personnel Policy Manual
Lifeguards must obtain all Certifications (CPR, First Aid, Waterfront Lifeguarding) prior to the date of hire
